All the same I have a friend who says she is going to wear it, we'll see if she chickens out. She has "backup" costumes if she doesn't like how it looks on her.

I'm amused that a cheap costume shop POS got Black Widow's costume more accurately than the movie:

that's not accurate to the movie OR the comic.
I think he's referring to the cleavage.

Is it a black one piece suit? If so, then it's accurate. It's not a complicated costume

It is not. That's some sort of SWAT outfit.

Naomi Price of the Priceline commercials is much closer.

Hell, Julie Newmar's Catwoman outfit was closer.

It is, accept the constraints of reality when it comes to live-action adaptations. This is what her costume would look like if the artists were willing to put effort in rather than fall back on a simplified, easier-to-draw design.

Yep it is her costume. She's used that in the comics for some time now. The movie got it right. So did "Iron Man 2".

I am, but not at that Greg Land (or Greg Land-style) version. Applying a few filters to photographs does not make comic book art.

Here's what I'm looking at:

Like I said, those are the result of artists not putting in proper detail to the character design.

Red-haired Scarlett Johansson? Goddess.

In the first pic above is she wearing body paint? Why can you see her belly button?

I think the debate about the costume is... odd.

I mean aside from variations of material, neckline and belts and such how is the movie version any different than the comic version? It's a black, body-hugging, jumpsuit in all versions.
