I was reading that the Hulk cgi models and stuff from this movie will be used for the Hulk TV series on ABC. This has probably been known since the beginning but I haven't really followed the progress of either production.

Actually Whedon has realized his best character is Agent Coulson , which is why he has given Clark Gregg increased lines and has joked in the past that it has been very hard not to keep giving him lines.
Which pretty much confirms that Joss will kill him.

Probably right at the moment that Black Widow strips naked and confesses her undying love for him.

Yep Joss possibly killing Coulson or something bad happening to him has been brought up before in the thread. I can't see it happening though...possibly being naive.

While I admit to the possibility of this being mis-direction, I give you this snippet of an interview with Clark Gregg...

I think Joss will kill off Stan in his cameo role.

The Son of Coul is awesome! He's like the glue that holds the MCU together. It's no surprise that The Incredible Hulk, which did not feature Coulson in some capacity, is considered the least of the MCU movies.

^ Ah, but "The Consultant" featuring Coulson serves as an epilogue to The Incredible Hulk.

@Broc for me it has to do with a love of Clark Gregg's work. I was one of few who did watch "The Old Adventures of New Christine" and he is really the unsung hero of that series with his work. Such a fantastic comedic actor who executes the role of Agent Coulson perfectly. Plus I think every fan relates to the character because he seems on the surface a normal guy but has the ability to kick ass in literally seconds. Plus I think it's rare for a brand new character without any kind of source reference in the comics to become such a cult hero.

Rumor is that Alan Silvestri will be composing the score for The Avengers. I can't find a source to confirm that yet, though. Supposedly it's mentioned in the latest/next issue of Film Score Monthly.
