My God, that Cap costume looks worse and worse each time I see it.
As for Black Widow, there was no reason on God's green earth to change the texture and feel of her costume.
Somebody tell me this doesn't work. Go ahead.

It doesn't work - 'hooker' isn't the look they were going for.

I'm sure beaker will get a chance to see his favorite BW costume in the inevitable Avengers - XXX parody

Cap's WW2 uniform was impressive because they managed to make a cheesy uniform look not half bad. I think the attempt to go for a more traditional uniform hasn't worked that well. I hope they compare reactions to the two and decide to switch back to something a bit more like the WW2 uniform in the sequels.

Cap's WW2 uniform was based on a combination of his 616 and Ultimate WW2 uniforms as is his Avengers costume. I don't know what you're talking about regarding a more traditional uniform hasn't worked that well. "Avengers" doesn't come out until next summer.

I don't see how. It's close to the 90's movie costume now

No, you see. This one stinks because it is practical and functional. We can have none of that now.

I wouldn't say the new one stinks, but I do prefer the WWII version.

Actually, that's exactly the look comic book artists have been going for for most of the superheroines out there.

This is a movie, not a comic book.

It's perfectly understandable that the studios don't want her to look like a complete whore.

CBR's Spinoff blog has some new shots, including one of Stan the Man and some more of Cap, Widow and Hawkeye.

I was joking. I think the new one looks good and is a solid adaptation of Cap's costume for a movie.

That first pic was a fan manip because some people are whining that the new helmet looks dorky, so they wanted to see how the new costume would look with the WW2 helmet.

Personally I like the costume. It looks like Cap will be better able to move in it than in the older, bulkier costume.
