"A Topiary" feature in development from Shane Carruth

The director of "Primer" (2004) has a new script for a feature project called "A Topiary".

The Play List have managed to get their hands on the script. Yesterday they revealed a few details on the new project and they’re exactly what we’d expect from Carruth: something completely unexpected.
**Note: this post contains mild spoilers about Shane Carruth's "A Topiary." If you don't want to know anything about it, stop reading now.**

ten boys aged seven to eleven
The boys are in possession of a mysterious black box called a "Maker,"
I'm a little leary of feature films in which a group of prepubescent boys are the principal characters played by prepubescent boys such as Pay It Forward (2000), The Goonies (1985), & Explorers (1985) as they can just be tedious to watch on screen due to their age.

I do look forward to any sci fi project from Shane Carruth though.
