"Undercovers" spy thriller series on NBC co-created by J.J. Abrams

a J.J. Abrams show, they're both retired CIA spies who are sucked back into the spy world when a buddy goes missing.
It will have a very fast pace for a network television dramatic spy thriller episodic.

I have a persistent feeling this is gonna be one of those hyped-up flops that have a big first episode and then CRASH!

Well it set-up a fascinating, interesting mythos throughout its run but end with a smack-in-the-face to everyone who invested their time into it guessing what the fuck was really going on?
