TOS Like Donner's Superman movies?

I ask this because both are classic and no body wants them to be messed up in anyway shape or form...also everything that comes down the line TPTB want to pay tribute to them. I think they are both pretty much the standard for either franchise on film or TV.

Thoughts?

Isn't only part of Superman II Donners? If so the "messing" had been done.

The "Donner Cut" was released a few years ago. Rather good it was, too.

Star Trek and Superman are both filed under "good" for me.

Well, the MAJOR part.
I *LOVE* the Donner fix-up of Superman.
And I totally appreciate The Donner Cut of Superman II. It was sorta like my Holy Grail of alternate movie versions.
I usually watch the first half of Lester's Superman II, then switch to the Donner Cut for the White House invasion all the way to the end (skipping the obligatory Time Warp redux they were forced to include).
