I've been around Scandinavian fish foods before. After my first encounter with lutefisk let's just say I'm....extremely wary.

Is it...any good?
I kind of get the impression from the photos that it's mainly Peeps done up to resemble sushi, but not necessarily actually mixing the two. I could be wrong on that, of course.

In this day and age of bizarre foods that have no business being together on the same plate (or in the same recipe) it's hard to say. I've heard stories about far worse.

Liver-flavored ice cream, for example.

For centuries Swedish fish-'delicatessen' have been feared WAY more than than their military abilities (even Hitler knew to stay away from Sweden!).

Today we, luckily, have Wikipedia to warn us:

According to a Japanese study, a newly opened can of surströmming has one of the most putrid food smells in the world, even more so than similarly fermented fish dishes such as the Korean Hongeohoe or Japanese Kusaya.
Basically: Do not open a can of Surströmming without your Level A hazmat-suit AND do not, ever, bring a can of it into another country -it'll be regarded as a biological/chemical attack!
