Well I'm glad I could motivate ya. I myself just decided on three scrambled eggs and some buttered all-wheat toast. I might toss in some juice as well, but I'm not sure how much I have left. Might need to buy some more. Anyways, I'm in an egg mood and can't wait 'til those puppies are all whipped up.

My dad always put cream cheese in scrambled eggs. He'd just break it up into cubes and toss it in.

I've put gorgonzola, mozzarella and pepperjack cheese into scrambled eggs before. I occasionally experiment with eggs to come up with interesting new combinations. Sometimes they work, sometimes I just wasted several perfectly good eggs. But more often than not I'm satisfied with the results. Eggs are always fun to play around with.

I sorta know the feeling. I recently dared myself to get through part of MadBaggins' current story before I had eaten or drinken anything to fully awaken me and get my blood glucose level up. I'll never make that mistake again.

There are mornings I need to eat half the contents of a Denny's restaurant and then have a live hand grenade go off next to my ear to fully awaken me. I can be quite the heavy sleeper when I finally manage to doze off. Sometimes I'm still dragging even after breakfast, a hot shower and watching the TV...and it's only getting worse as I get older.

Like right now. After I scarf down my eggs and toast I should be alright. But until I get that warm, lovely goodness into my gullet I'm pretty useless to the rest of the human species. I suffer fools horribly in the minutes after I first wake up. I can be the grouchiest bastard on the planet and I imagine it's actually kind of funny to watch.

Even the most positive and upbeat people can be complete and utter bastards who'd kick a kitten right after they wake up. I've seen it. I've never been that bad nor could I ever bring myself to be, but man...am I the consummate grouch at 7 or 8 in the morning. I suppose a good part of it is because my blood sugar flatlines right before breakfast and I'm dragging. I'm not diabetic, but low blood sugar is something I constantly have to monitor. Hypoglycemia is a real pain in the ass.
