Re: Marvel Now/ReEvolution Ongoing Discussion (Spoilers)
I was thinking that the future Franklin and Valeria should have know, but their master plan was to save their parents from getting killed a few months earlier, so the timeline reset and they became just as ignorant of the future as everyone else... Although Grimm is supposed to live for hundreds of years more if we believe that story from a year ago... So if Ben was/willbe dying of whatever Reed is, then Franklin and Valeria in some other Future already got on top of that malady before they time travelled back to a year ago. Seriously though? Reed is in possession of the yellow reality controlling infinity gem. He can just wish himself well, since both his body and whatever is wrong with it are aspects of reality. This is so pretty... http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...y_Gauntlet.jpg Although why is beast, who was also dying of an incurable disease, afraid of Professor X from the 1960s if he's got the Mind Gem in his back pocket? Professor X shouldn't be able to do jack to him since he should be able to control most of the universe if his imagination is up to the task.

Re: Marvel Now/ReEvolution Ongoing Discussion (Spoilers)
You did realize that there were two Franklin Richatrds in Hickmans run? A ten year old and a time travelling adult.

The Franklin in Fraction's Fantastic Four acts like a toddler or pre-school, which only makes sense for Fraction since that is around the age of his son. |

Re: Marvel Now/ReEvolution Ongoing Discussion (Spoilers)
I saw Franklin leave the ship first last month and jump about on the planet. He didn't toddle. Dictionary definition of a toddler is someone learning to walk, and most children can walk before they can talk. Clearly at most a 10 year old but still older than Valeria who is a super intelligent 3 or 4 who is also not a toddler, and they were both talking in concise unbroken English. Besides they have Alex Power walking around back home, which severely dates Franklin from his Power Pack days even if they didn't reset him exactly after Fantastic Force. I'd blame the artist more so that the writer if anyone for your confusion. Mark Bagely doesn't know how to draw, or doesn't want to draw fat people. At his worst his characters all look like they have eating disorders. Edit. Just reread your post and glommed onto a new word: "preschool". Maybe? Franklin hasn't gone to a real school or mingled with other children so he's probably emotionally arrested to that point in age like any hothouse flower.

Re: Marvel Now/ReEvolution Ongoing Discussion (Spoilers)
I'm half way through reading where Young Scott meets Mystique(it's on the cover, so not a spoiler, and it was set up late week.) and I'm thinking DON'T TRUST HER! She's wearing a belt made out of human baby skulls! Why would you trust a woman wearing a belt made out of human baby skulls, sure, even if they're plastic baby skulls, the girl is still going for a distinct satanic if you fall asleep I will sacrifice you to the devil vibe ...But when you really began to think about what a belt made of human baby skulls nestled over her reproductive organs might really mean, remembering that she screwed a demon and had a baby, the answer is somewhat blatently obvious. It has to be a mystical chasity belt. But is it Raven's mystical chastity belt to stop other demons or the same demon from using her as a baby factory or did Azaezel leave it there becuause her lady area still belonmgs to him? Idiot didn't realize she can move her vagina, but short of asking doctor Strange for a favour, Mystique can't pry the bastard off her hips and she's been stuck with it for 40 years. Oh. What if she gave birth to a littler, and Kurt was the one that got away somehow? And the rest of her euthanized children, she wears their skulls as a belt to advertise exactly what happens to any antichrist some wannabe Beelzebub tries to stick into her oven. Everyone wants to be Mary, no one wants to be Rosemary.

Also these aren't "normal" people. These are the world's smartest and greatest superheroes who are expanding their horizons and ambitions, just as Hickman is doing with his story telling in this book. Even more so with the Illumianti.

I love the new Smasher as well. The goggles remind me a lot of the World Mind.
