Re: Most foreboding music
Festival of Gloom Details: "INTRO : Welcome to Scorpio - a time of darkening in the world around us,when Celtic mythology considered the veil between this world and the 'world of the spirits' to be at its thinnest - In the spirit of the season, we have an immaculately moody offering for you." "English singer DAVID SYLVIAN puts it this way: 'The night is dark and cold Strong winds and the rain Crack the branches upon my window The devil beats his drum, casting out his spell Dragging all his own down into hell.' " On this edition of HEARTS of SPACE we journey down the dark corridors, through the rainy streets, past the industrial wastelands, and into the ethereal, introspective sounds of the Halloween season, with a program called 'FESTIVAL OF GLOOM.'" Re: Most foreboding music
![]() Much love for it here. All of it. I also find very foreboding Henry Purcell's "Funeral March of Queen Mary II" (especially Wendy Carlos's version for A Clockwork Orange). In general, Baroque music rocks.
