File Hosting

Hey, with all of the problems I have been having with my web host, I was looking for a place to mirror my files, that was either very cheap, or free. I know it's unreasonable, but I was hoping for one that would allow me to direct link, and have unlimited bandwidth.

I was hoping someone here had heard of such a thing.

Thanks,

Re: File Hosting

If the content is 'legal,' and it is linked on a webpage, just about any web host should do fine. What sort of problems are you having with yours?

There are loads of free file hosting services but they don't offer direct links... maybe FileFront kinda does.

Re: File Hosting

Well, I use hosting24.com, since they are extremely cheap. My site is always up, and everything works except http downloads... they all seem to finish early, resulting in corrupt files. I've been submitting trouble tickets, and they seem to be working on it, but the problems still exist.

I used mediafire as a temporary solution... hopefully I didn't pick the worst one out there.
