Funny thing is when I was a kid I was scared of Dick York as Darrin and I LIKED Dick Sargent. As an adult, I realized how much funnier the original Darrin had been. Dick Sargent, I'm certain, was a nice man--TOO nice. And it showed up in his performances as Darrin. Grumpy Dick York--THAT'S the REAL Darrin!
