At the 18:50 mark, Bart's new love interest tries to revive him using CPR. It triggers a montage of famous movie kisses in Bart's head, including Gone With the Wind, From Here to Eternity, and an Alien nearly killing Ripley.

Oh yeah, and XI!

I recognized about 1/2 of those kissing scenes. Where does that put me on the cool-o-meter?

Any time your show or movie is referenced on The Simpsons it is a good thing, even if it is my least favorite part of the new movie!

Which really should have included the Archie Bunker/Sammy Davis, Jr. kiss.

I'm impressed they got the rights to the music. That couldn't have been cheap! Maybe Enzo Morricone is a big Simpsons fan?

^ Is that where the montage idea and music come from? I've never seen Cinema Paradiso, but it certainly wouldn't be unlike the Simpsons for them to have done that.
