IDW to publish Jurassic Park comics

Apparentally it will be in continuity with the trilogy, but takes place around 2006 (Presuming the original JP was set in 93 when the film came out), so technically it's five years after JP3.

Centering on the Murphys as the main characters sort of reminds me of those old rumors for JP4 that would have Keira Knightley play Lex.

Interestingly Joseph Mazello (Tim) is in the spotlight again as he's part of the Pacific Miniseries....

This isn't the first JP comic series. In addition to publishing two comics that adapted the movies, several limited series came out from Topps that mainly took place after the first film with the Dinosaurs being rounded up by the military and a Raptor outbreak on the mainland. (The comics aren't really canon as they are largely ruled out by events in TLW).
