Wallace and Gromit question

I live in the U.S. Anyone know where I can get the new film 'A Matter of Loaf and Death"?

Thanks

There is a Region 2 DVD available, but I don't know if that would do a US viewer any good.

yeah I don't know why a REgion1 isn't available.

Has anyone seen it?

Gromit is my single favorite animated character

I didn't know there was a new movie, but I'm glad to know they are back at work after the horrible fire they had a few years back.

Maybe it will come out for Christmas? I got the Wererabbit and a collection of shorts for $5 at Walmart about 2 months ago.

Nice, a new W+G short! I was disappointed in the movie; the characters, while enormously loveable, just don't sustain interest for much longer than the novelty of the plot at hand lasts. Here's hoping this'll be magic more akin to the original three stories.

AMOLAD is in a similar darkish tone to A Close Shave, but still good fun. I liked it a lot.

Plus, Gromit's eye-rolling never gets old.

Re: Wallace and Gromit question

^(to bigdaddy)it's only a short not a feature length movie.

It's also out on Blu-Ray and there seems to be contradictory information on whether it's region free or not.

Gromit's eye-rolling gives him more character than most of the speaking characters.

Saw it twice over christmas. I think it proves that Wallace and Gromit work best in short form rather than long form.

Dunno, did the others ever air there? Maybe they're hoping to sell the TV rights first?

Yes, they used to show them on PBS from time to time, and there's been more than one R1 DVD release.

Re: Wallace and Gromit question

Hulu.com, a legal video site, has a number of shorts for Wallace & Gromit on their site (not the new film though), if anybody is interested. I don't think it's available to users outside the U.S.A. though.
