This Forum Through the Years... thanks to Archive.org

I thought newcomers might like to see what the Trekbbs science fiction forum used to look like. Unfortunately, clicking on the threads to read the posts does not work, but you can at least read the thread titles:

2006
2004
2003
2000

I hadn't remembered that "Caption This" had been going on since 2003.

Some things just don't change. 2000.

Nice find. This board was my first forum, it's still got the best community of genuinely good people.

"Who remembers Space: Above and Beyond" could pop up nowadays as well. Or maybe not, because even less people remember the show in 2010.

"Dune: Book vs Film" or "IYO what makes good/bad sci-fi?" is something that never gets old too.

But what the hell is "Now & Again"?? There are two threads on it in 2000! And apparently, it was threatened by cancellation.

Wow.. I did the SF/F Character survivor back in 2003.

Might be time to do it again.

And there are Superman topics in each of those years, just as there are today. I guess big blue is timeless.

WOW this is great. I miss the old board server! I laughed seeing a thread of mine was in two of those links.

Wow, had TrekBBS abandoned the blue interface as far back as 2003? My memory fails me.

I'm pretty sure it was my thread that turned into that 12:03 or whatever it was that wrecked the board.

I'm not proud of that!
