Wow, guys are weird. I would have thought Uma Thurman would be unanimously thumbs up. She's a classic beauty, whereas a lot of the women who get good scores in these polls are utterly interchangeable Barbie doll types and frankly boring looking.

Did they change the definition of classic beauty when I wasn't paying attention? Does it now equal fugly? Cause her and Maggie G. are neck-and-neck right now over who hit more branches of the ugly tree on the way down.
Why did you have to mention Maggie Gyllenhal (sp)!??!!? I was supposed to eat food today!!

I like her, but in the context of the genre-babe contest she's sub-average imo, so I vote sideways.
Pretty much my thoughts.

To each his own. I always thought Maggie was cute. Not a great beauty, but if I was dating her in real life I would be a happy man.

I find Maggie Gyllenhaal to be very cute, but in certain conditions she can be a bit of a butter face.

Uma... I dunno. She just doesn't have "it."

And no it's not because Uma is blonde.

If only Uma Thurman had been on Firefly. That would double her approval rating right there!

Uma Thurman was presenting an award at the BAFTAs last night and was well turned out. I have no problem with her abilities as an actress. However, she's not a "babe" in the shallow sense of the word that this poll intends.

Thumbs down - have never found her in the least appealing. (In The Truth About Cats & Dogs, I much preferred the idea of climbing all over Janeane Garofalo! Still do!!)
