Star Trek Fan Films

Hello! My name is FJ and I'm from VA. I'm new here but I may have been here before. Anyways, I need help creating stories or scripts for Star Trek Borg Invasion and a Star Trek TNG Starfleet Academy. I contacted Starfleet Academy Fan Club and sent them an email. I also contacted Star Trek Hidden Frontier and Star Trek Phase II but they haven't responed to my emails. Could anybody help me with this please? My email currently is Red_Eye_Flight_2005@Hotmail.com if you want to get in contact with me.

You might want to be a little more specific about what it is you are doing. Creating scripts for what? A live action film? An animation? Machinima? Audio drama? Something else?

I see you identify your location as VA, Virgina. Have you spoken to other Fan Filmmakers in your area? Although this map is a few months out of date, you can locate other Fan filmmakers on it: http://startrekreviewed.blogspot.com/2009/06/4.html

I have to admit I have wondered if completed works belong on the map at all. At least if somebody were near you, they could ask you for advice based on your experience, though. Even if you never make another Fan Film, you'd be a resource for somebody who wants to make one now and would like to talk to somebody who has done it.

A good first step might be to volunteer for a Farragut shoot. That could give you a feel for the possible. I also think that, if you look through my list of fan film groups that have not yet produced a film http://startrekreviewed.blogspot.com/2009/06/143.html you may find existing projects in serious need of help and support. There are a lot more groups that try to produce a film and never do than those that actually produce films. Among those that produce films, most aren't very good. Producing quality Fan Trek is a truly noteworthy and praiseworthy task... an heroic labor of love. Seriously, try to help the folk at Farragut and find out more about what it's all about. If you want to be on the ground floor with a new group, consider Star Trek: The Early Years.

So what role are you going to play? What are you bringing to the table to encourage people to want to work with you?

Re: Star Trek Fan Films

I need to get actors for this. I also think Star Trek Borg Invasion should be in The 24th Century and Star Trek TNG Starfleet Academy should be in The 23rd Century. If anybody can help me creating stories or scripts. I might have somebody right now that I emailed created graphics for this.
