STO Trek BBS Fleet

I would like to put together a fleet for members of the Trek BBS. Anyone interested in such a Fleet please post ideas here and lets see what we can get going.
I realize that some BBS members are already members of other fleets, but I think the community here should be represented.
Looking forward to hearing from you all.

I've been waiting for STO for a while and i'm really excited about the community aspect. I've been a gamer for a long time now, however, this will be my first MMO. But, i'm eager to learn and try new things. Although I haven't played the BETA yet, i'm really hoping on being a long term player of STO.

Only one issue: I am in Australia so our timezones could be in conflict in terms of being online at the same time. How does this work for you?

I often play in the middle of the night, but that might be a stretch. Still, there are many people who might be better placed to play on your schedule. Especially if we get enough members.

I'm a night gamer too. Day gaming is no longer an option for me as Uni and Work pretty much fill those hours. But, when on holidays I could be a little more flexible.

Did you play the open BETA? How was it? Are you in Head Start?

If we can get the right numbers it has real potential. I'd love to do something together that reflects the spirit of the show. So far, the game seems to be combat oriented. I love action in Star Trek, but I was hoping the game would balance it out a little with some science, exploration and diplomatic missions. I think this is where as a fleet, we can create stories and role play scenarios. I'm not sure how much control we have over it, but if we have just enough, we can create something really unique in Trek gaming.

I'm up for it! Does anybody know how I can leave my current fleet? I don't even know how I signed up to it!

Fleets are good for communicating with online friends and teams, though at the moment my current fleet are just a bunch of random people spamming me lol

Can only actual TrekBBS members join or can we bring other friends along since I can't form a fleet with them otherwise? At least I wouldn`t know how...

Personally, I think we should be able to bring in our friends. As long as the core of the fleet is made up of Trek BBS members we should be fine.
I know I want to be able to play with my non BBS friends.
I am not sure of the exact method for leaving a fleet. I would assume there is a button on your fleet status screen. Try checking there.
Since there are five people here who are interested and at least a couple are interested in bringing friends I will go ahead and see what is required to create a fleet in game.
I will report back here when I have more info.

I think in the fleet options on little down arrow on the right of the screen there is a button in there to leave the fleet.
