The optimal ending thing depends on your definition... for the true optimal ending, you'll want to have done all the loyalty quests available before activating the IFF mission.

. Doing a renegade female character with opposite Universe choices to my main character so I can experience a different Mass Effect 2 universe.Later in week I will probably finish off Mass Effect 2 so I can read these spoiler tags

I also used Tali and Garrus for old times sake. I didn't use Mordin much (though he does have his funny moments)

Tali is actually one of my favorite characters in ME... shame she's not that useful this time around if you're not fighting mechs/Geth.

![]() It means I'll need to do a second playthrough to finish off the Incinerate/Warp achievements, but oh well. I need a second anyways, as a guy, since I don't like any of the romance options for femShep. (Except maybe Jacob, but I still have qualms about anybody voluntarily signing up for Cerberus, as opposed to being railroaded into it by the writers.)
