It is called a duster.

I keep hearing rumors that Clark will get a more traditional looking Superman costume after "Absolute Justice".

Hope it actually happens.

There's a story on Kryptonsite that Smallville's "Disciple", the first new episode after the break, will be delayed by a cross-network telethon for Haiti.

I was just thinking that, if this is successful then maybe it's the way to go next year; instead of doing a whole season, just a few of these type episodes spread across the year.

It's just that, if the show ends after this season it'll be a like five shows short of the mythical 200; it'd be kind of a shame...

I can see them pulling a "Sci-Fi" and renew it simply for the 200+ episode mark and canceling it right after it breaks SG-1's North American record.

Re: Cross Network Marathon to help Haiti

Exactly, Friday night, the night networks know fewer people are home wathcing TV means less pissed off people.

If the Networks want to impress me with their concern for Haiti then do this on Thursday night, cut into the CSI's, Office etc shows.

You make two very valid points in that last paragraph; hopefully, having two hours to tell the story will give the writers a bit more lee-way, but that could be hampered by the fact that the JS characters not only haven't appeared on Smallville before, to the best of my knowledge, they haven't even been mentioned in passing.

Add that to the fact that they have to share the screen with Clark, Ollie, the Chlovage and everyone else.

All that said, I'm still really looking forward to this ep. Hopefully, it's an indicator of the potential this show still has to tell interesting stories.
off subject for a moment, i'm not usually and allison mack fan but i gotta say procutus, that is a really attractive pic you have of her as your avatar

Thanks, Ethan! That shot was taken during the TV Guide photo-shoot that was done right after the Writer's Strike ended and they did the cover with all the various stars from the different networks. Allison was the only one representing the CW. And yeah, she really does look great there. I love the look on her face.

Well I'm looking forward to seeing Absolute Justice, and plan recording it,while watching it I've even invited a couple friends to watch it with me,but one is a Heroes fan,and another is a Doctor Who fan so its possible I could be watching alone for the two hours now I have a question is it a two parter or a two hour long episode?

That's all for now see ya all on Friday night

Signed

Both. It was written and shot as a two-parter but has been cut into a single 2-hour "movie" which will be aired on February 5.
