OT: Marco's new gig!
Hopefully it's also a sign that the publishing industry is starting to recover from the economic crises of the past couple of years, if they're hiring editors again. Oh, and by the way, it's interesting that he's working with David G. Hartwell, since it was Hartwell who founded Pocket's Star Trek novel line thirty-odd years ago.

Interesting tidbit about Hartwell. I didn't know that particular piece of trivia.

Re: OT: Marco's new gig!
Is there any way to know what projects a certain editor has been responsible for? I loved so much what he did with Trek that I kind of want to buy everything he commissions. |

And it was also blown to smithereens in the GODZILLA remake.

Re: OT: Marco's new gig!
In 2009 I spent around $5,000 on books. In 2010, it was probably less than $500. Here's hoping 2011 is more like 2009.

And, as a long-time Tor-ite, I couldn't be happier that Marco has signed aboard.
