The Xindi arc in S3 gave Malcolm added exposure-as tactical officer, who had to wrangle MACOs while blowing stuff up. Hoshi's skills were called upon in deciphering the Xindi database, fending off telepathic hermits, and finally poached by Insectoid leader to launch the big ol' spinning ball of doom(tm)...

And Travis contributed...____________________???
