My improv teacher was in Babylon 5!!

Thats' right, he played Jinxo! He's one of my friends on Facebook, and he updated earlier today that he just got a 14 cent royalty check from the episode.

I'm watching his episode right now. He's got a wee bit less hair these days, but it's Tom alright.

I should dress up like Ivanova Monday night for class and freak him out.

He looks so different, with his little chipmunk cheeks. And I've never seen him do drama before. Monday night is gonna be fun fun FUN!

ETA- Hey, can you bring the family down in full costume? That oughta be fun. We could have our own B5 convention.

Very cool! From what I've heard of that episode, the director was...less than involved (he'd gotten a pink slip) so often the actors were left to do their best. I always liked that episode and thought your teacher did a nice job with his part!

Really? I'll have to ask him about that.

If anyone can handle winging it and "improving,"
it's Tom.

Very cool. I'll keep an eye out for him, when I watch the show again soon. (Can't see that link, as I'm not an American!)

The 14 cent check is the most recent royalty check; not all his royalty checks together. Likely it's from recent DVD sales.

I am kind of amused that it cost more to print out and mail the check than the check was for.

I was gonna ask him how that worked out. He's worked in pretty damned much everything: movies, commercials and TV.

Knowing Tom, he'll find a place to spend it.

Hey, I'm gonna see Jinxo tonight. You guys want me to say hi for you?

Jinxo was my favourite minor character! I even wrote that fanfic about him!

That's cool.

Best I got is being the brother of that guy from Star Trek. What's his name.

Karl somebody.
