I thought this was going to be about that old DC Comics TNG comic book where they actually find the spirit of Christmas and it sort of looks red and white and Santa-shaped. Ugh! That was a stupid issue...and I first read it at age 12!

The star of this comic series.

This particular series follows the exploits of three friends, all of them Trek fans to varying degrees. Carl Jennings is the uberfan, the kind of guy who lives in a Starfleet uniform and breathes everything Trek. The other two are normal, laid-back casual fans.
