Re: What Trek do you own on DVD?

On DVD... just two of the 'fan collective' all series groupings (Borg and Alternate Realities).
BR... ST X
LD... ST II to ST VI

Re: What Trek do you own on DVD?

The only complete set I have so far is Enterprise 1-4, plus TAS.

In terms of the movies I have TMP, II, VI, Nemesis, and the 2009 film.

I'm not a fan of the remastered Trek (and am underwhelmed with the way the original versions were transferred to the Blu-Ray), so I'm waiting for the original DVD sets to turn up cheap somewhere, which they will.

I have little interest in buying TNG on DVD. The show hasn't aged well for me, and while there are a few individual episodes I'd like to have, it's not worth shelling out what's still a pretty hefty hunk of change for just a few episodes. Ditto Voyager. DS9 I might buy one of these days, but it's not high on my priority list.

All seasons of DS9

Star Trek VI
Generations
First Contact
Nemesis
Star Trek XI

I MIGHT have Star Trek IV, but if not, this is the last item I plan to add to my collection.

Got everything now apart from Enterprise, not sure I'm gonna other with that or not.
Enterprise is absolutely my favorite Trek series of all time. I would also highly recommend it.

Re: What Trek do you own on DVD?

All I have is Wrath of Khaaaaaaaaan, The Voyage Home, and First Contact in the 2-disc DVD versions. I picked those up as they're my 3 favorites on sale a while back from Barnes and Noble, but that was when all the series were still ludicrously overpriced so as of yet I don't own any of those sets. Some day I'll grab most or all of both TNG and DS9, though. I'm a general fan of the other 3 series, but I can't justify dropping hundreds of bucks on shows I don't fully love. I'm also planning a Blu-ray upgrade some time in the next year, so I'll hold off on other movies (Like XI ) and upgrade the ones I have eventually, too.

All but I never watch them.

In the old days if trek popped up on reruns you would go "cool".

Now days I just have my DVR set for whatever Trek. Sure I have seen very episode of all many times. But it is nce to just see some random episode that you have not seen in forever.

My Collection isn't huge but I do like the quality aspect of it..
Tv Series..
Enterprise Season 4
TOS remastered Seasons 1,2 and 3
Movies..
ST TMP
ST WOK
ST TSFS
ST TVH
ST TUC
ST FC
ST Nem (It was a gift and I can't get rid of it..from my wife)
ST (2009) the newest of my collection..IMHO a good movie..

I also have the "Time Travel Collective" a nice addition from some of the other series..

On VHS I only have the following left
ST TFF
ST Gen
ST Ins
( these films just don't really rate an upgrade to DVD..I'd rather complete my collection of Toho monster classics)

If you think it's an abomination, why do you own it?
So he can re-watch it and hate it again whenever he wants!

The complete Next Generation Series including films.

We are starting on the Original Series only now, as my husband had only watched NG and needed some convincing... now realises that the Original Series is the coal that was nurtured and coaxed into what we have today.

DataLives.

Oh, and Enterprise, Season 3
