T'POL: May I come in? I just wanted to say how much your absence will affect the crew. How much it will affect me.

Sim: I appreciate that. All in all, I guess I've had a pretty good life.

T'Pol kisses Sim

I couldn't have asked for a better going away present.

Continuing on with SIM:

SIM: I'm sorry I doubted you, Doc.

PHLOX: No need to apologize.

SIM: I'm serious. You see, I don't just remember Trip's childhood, I remember mine. You made a damn good father.

SIM: You said to me once that commanding a starship was what you were meant to do. I guess this is what I was meant to do. Good luck, Captain.

Re: "Similitude" : Line-By-Line!

Armory, Sim is dressed in a Starfleet uniform, in an unsealed Torpedo Tube.

Archer: We will never forget what he did for us, and for the ship he loved so much. We will go forward with renewed determination to complete this mission, so that his sacrifice won't just have been for the people on this ship, but for all the citizens of Earth.

We see Trip, now recovered standing with Malcolm and Hoshi, Archer nods to signal Malcolm and Travis to seal the Torpedo. They are joined by Phlox and another officer to place Sim's coffin in the loading position.

Sim's coffin enters the launch system as the crew watches.

The coffin leaves the ship and goes out into the stars.

Re: "Similitude" : Line-By-Line!

Nicely done everyone, I'm glad we finally were able to finish up that one. Since it was only the last act and a half, I'm not sure it should be listed in the full pantheon, but CoveTom can decide that.

Speaking of CoveTom, since it has been a week since he logged onto TrekBBS, I'm gonna risk incurring the wrath of CoveTom and get us started moving on the path to the next Episode.

On the "Journey to Babel" our contestants were as follows:

1. CoveTom
2. LeadHead
3. leandar
4. Enterprise1981
5. Ziz
6. Wynterhawk
7. JanewayRulz!
8. Vanyel
9. Captain Robert April
10. Captain Ice
11. highlyillogical
12. Orac
13. KirkPicard

I fed it into Random.org, and the lucky winner is:

Orac!

Congrats Orac, the next episode choice is yours, you can also decide to pass and I will roll the dice again. Either way let us know quickly if you can.

Up to this point, these episodes have bee done:

Where No Man Has Gone Before (TOS)
The Man Trap (TOS)
The Menagerie (TOS)
Journey to Babel (TOS)
Measure of a Man (TNG)
Yesterday's Enterprise (TNG)
Peak Performance (TNG)
The First Duty (TNG)
The Best of Both Worlds (TNG)
Sins of the Father (TNG)
The Visitor (DS9)
Trials and Tribble-ations (DS9)
The Way of the Warrior (DS9)
Bride of Chaotica (VOY)
Dark Frontier (VOY)
Scorpion (VOY)
Counterpoint (VOY)

And remember the choosing rules, If it's got a To Be Continued, it can count as one thread. Something larger like the DS9 Occupation Arc or Xindi Arc would be done as separates.
