Re: Now for some fun: Pick Your Band Name / Album Name / Album Cover

A few more discoveries:

This is probably going to be a classical album by some pop-classical pianist:

This guy is definitely a Bobby Goldsboro tribute act:

And lastly some synth-heavy poodle rock:

EDIT:
Funnily enough, the next two are real people in the music industry...

Greg Davis, the electronica musician, daring to go all Caribbean and sunshiney for his next release:

Jim "Bat Out Of Hell" Steinman seen here running his own bus service as part of his new side project, "Children and No Theories":

However, this last one is more like it - this prog-rock trio's greatest record:

Damn, this is GREAT!

I wish some of these bands really existed, I'd check them out.

Maybe we could strike a deal with the people at Flickr and whoever else, and set up a company that designs CD covers, like Hipgnosis did back in the 70s (and their work was pretty damn good too - they did do Dark Side of the Moon and Wish You Were Here).

A strangely addictive game. I like it!

Here's probably a gothmetal outfit with a mistakenly colourful album cover:

Two more:

Ramos Island - My Mother's Maiden Name

Henry M. Foley - Meet is Your Mirror

Anyone want to guess what kind of music they'd contain?

Re: Now for some fun: Pick Your Band Name / Album Name / Album Cover

Too addictive, this game is.

Made a few more...

Former choirboy Martin Tudor was a little known product of the SAW British pop factory of the late 80s. This was his only album:

RINF are brothers Richard, Ian and Neil Forester from Worcester, Massachusetts. "In An Extreme Necessity" was their debut record, sadly overlooked on its release, yet now regarded as a college rock classic:

The reclusive Brummie genius that is Seyed Kamal Sajjadi does it again with his latest album of trance anthems and psychedelic beats:

Finally, multi-instrumentalist Tamaşi makes her English language debut with this interesting concept album:

My latest:

Probably some kind of obscure alt-music indie band... or maybe something new age. Any other ideas?

His lesser known yet critically highly acclaimed 1963 album of jazzed up drum solos inspired by Viennese waltzes.

Arthur Herbert (May 28, 1907, Brooklyn - date of death unknown) was an American jazz drummer.

Both of Herbert's parents were of Trinidadian heritage. He worked in a silver and gold refinery as a young man, playing local gigs in New York nightclubs and hotels in his spare time. He left industry in 1935 to join Eddie Williams's band, and soon after started his own band, the Rhythm Masters. In the 1930s and 1940s he worked as a sideman with musicians such as Pete Brown, Coleman Hawkins, Hot Lips Page, and Sidney Bechet.

In the 1950s Herbert went into semiretirement as a musician and started up his own pest extermination business. He played in various swing jazz revival ensembles, and toured with Lem Johnson in Poland in the 1960s.

Herbert taught his nephew, drummer Herb Lovelle, whom he insisted should know how to read sheet music, something black musicians were then not held to know. He got his nephew his first gig with Hot Lips Page. He also taught drummer Shelly Manne, according to Herb Lovelle.

My label signed an electro-pop trio from the former Eastern Block. They're local legends in Serbia, I swear!
