"Yesterday's Enterprise" Line-by-Line

Once more unto the breach, dear friends...

We've recently concluded our "The Visitor" Line-by-Line thread over in the DS9 forum!

After each completed thread, I'm randomly picking someone who participated to choose the next episode we do. The lucky winner this time around was brian! And he has chosen "Yesterday's Enterprise" as our next line-by-line adventure. And thus we return to the TNG forum!

For any unfamiliar with our "game," you are asked to post only a single line (defined as one character speaking without interruption by another character) per message. You can post as often as you like, but someone else must post a line in between your posts.

As before, at the conclusion of this thread, I will pick someone at random from among all the participants to choose the next episode we do.

Enjoy!

(Mods: Might you consider sticky-ing our current LbL thread as you do with the current caption thread?)

[SPECIAL NOTE: I've been presented with a special request to jump back to the movies on November 17th and initiate a line-by-line thread on the 2009 movie, since that's when it's released on DVD. I think that's reasonable and I don't see why we can't have two 'official' threads going side-by-side this one time. So whenever we hit the 17th, I'll be starting that one up -- in the Star Trek XI forum -- in addition to the episode we're doing at the time.]

GUINAN: Just try it. (Worf tries it) You see? It's an Earth drink. Prune juice.

Guinan: You know, you always drink alone. It wouldn't hurt for you to seek out a little...companionship.

Worf: I would require a Klingon woman for companionship. Earth females are too fragile.

Guinan: You never know till you try. There are some on this ship who would find you...tame.

Slight correction:
Guinan: Not all of them. There are some on this ship who would find you...tame.
Worf: Impossible.

Next line:

GUINAN: You never know 'til you try.
