Oct.18th IFC's 2 Special Monty Python Documentaries

So Sunday night October 18th IFC is going to air a new Monty Python's Flying Circus documentary called "Monty Python: Almost The Truth" celebrating their recent reunion they had and the passing of the 40th anniversary of the show. After the first documentary they will air one from 1980 and '82 Monty Python/Hollywood Bowl.

So post your thoughts on the documentary here.

Almost the Truth: The BBC Lawyers' Cut (as it was called) aired on BBC Two a couple of weeks ago. It was a fun watch.

So the first episode has aired on IFC of Monty Python Almost The Truth The Lawyers Cut, continuing a week long celebration of the show. There will be an episode every night this week until the Friday the episode will then air.

So thoughts and comments?

For some reason, I was getting the show with sound out of sync -- about 5-7 seconds later than the picture. I still thought it was really worthwhile, especially clips of some of the Python precursor shows

It definitely was very cool to see the evolution of what would become Python, it sort of makes sense that a radio show would have an influence as well as a weird band! Very cool.
