Woman implanted with wrong embroyo

I don't which forum this belongs in,so if this is not please move to correct it .I saw this the other day and wondered if anybody had any thoughts .

I would hope that the couple who the baby was turned over to will let the birth mother, and her family, keep in contact with the child.

Damn, "Private Practice" is using that as a plot device...I figured it had to have some basis in fact.

So sad, but with a lovely bit of humanity tossed in.

Everything seems to have been settled amicably between all the parents. And hopefully there will be a nice settlement from the providers as well.

I had the same thought when I heard the story on the news! If it hadn't been an NBC news broadcast, I would have thought it was a plug for the season premiere of "Private Practice."

It is sad that this woman won't be able to carry another pregnancy to term and now has to look for a surrogate of her own.

speaking of which, wasn't this used as a plot to atleast 3 Law & Order episodes (love that avatar, BTW)
