Actually, she's really frightening.

Also, it'd still be rape.

Rape by sexy female alien does not qualify as rape.

This being the same logic that says that a man cannot be raped because 'if he has an erection he wanted it' and that 'if a woman enjoys it, it's not rape'?

I hope this is just a joke we have all taken seriously by accident...

I'm sure he is joking because this...

This is also a hideous orange reptile, he just hides it better.

Ladies and Gentlemen, for your consideration, I tracked down the alien's parents...

Enjoy

For some reason this is now the second topic to abandon its natural course and start on a discussion about rape (the other being "Is Dukat really evil?" [DUHHHHH] in DS9) since I arrived... I'm kinda hoping it's not my influence on the board

Aaanyway in a vague attempt to bring the thread back on topic, this is way out of order, but I watched Cease Fire from S2 tonight. Is it my imagination or are the Andorian episodes all really good?

The Andorian episodes? Well, I've seen "The Andorian Incident" and "Cease Fire" and I think they're good, but not great. I do think it was a great decision to flesh out the Andorians though, so I tend to prefer episodes with them to episodes with random aliens we never see again.

Well, I spent the last two nights reading through the Voyager thread and found it interesting, so I'll follow this one too. I only ever really watched seasons 2, 3 and 4 of Enterprise though.

I hope to have Deep Space Nine at least partly watched by the time that thread starts.

It might help if you all moved on when a mod suggests that you move on.

Well, that was an unexpected detour, which seems to have distracted us from any other potential incidents.

Re: TheGodBen Revisits Enterprise

I'm sorry about the delay, but I'm afraid it may be a few days before I continue. I watched The Andorian Incident on Thursday but I didn't have the time to post a review because I went to the Ray Foley Lazy Radio Tour night where I finally lived my dream of seeing a packed night-club filled with over a thousand people dancing to the theme song from Bosco. Unfortunately I had a lecture the next morning at 9am so I only achieved about two hours of sleep, therefore yesterday evening I was too tired to do anything but watch a couple of episodes of Red Dwarf. When I woke up this morning from my 12 hours of sleep I found myself in the early stages of some fever which I'm going to claim is Swine Flu in order to gain some sympathy and hopefully boost the ratings. I tried to write a review of The Andorian Incident but my brain feels like it is trapped in a cellophane bag and when I tried to collate my thoughts on the episode the best I could do was "I like Andorians".

I may feel better tomorrow, or the next day, or next week, or in a few hours, but I'm not going to do anything "official" until I can do it properly. So in the mean time please feel free to talk about whatever you wish so long as it doesn't involve alien rape. Try talking about icecream, or something nice like that.
