It's actually a smarter show than that but it does get really weird from time to time. I find it strangely fascinating and I don't mind the sexual scenes (they bugged me in 'Rome') because they usually don't feel gratuitous.

Michelle Forbes guest starred on an episode? Was she one of the people nude? Being a big vampire fan in general I have been wanting to check out True Blood. Since my friend has season one I'll borrow it from her now that she's done watching it. I've heard nothing but good things about the show and that Anna Paquin is really good on it as well as really hot.

As mentioned above Michelle is the villain in S2 and causes al the bad and sexually behaviour in the show, she herself does not get naked but does act quite lude at times.
