Why has the Super Star Wars games not been re-released?

As a child of the SNES Era I have great memories of the greatest 2-D action games (and hardest) ever spawned! The Super STAR WARS games! Why have these great games not been re-released even in Virtual Console format? I'd buy these in a heartbeat! what about you? And yes I have beaten every game except jedi! (always died in the death star escape)

They were pretty awesome... my fav was Empire because it was hard, the force powers were cool, and the light saber animation was way better than the first.

Agreed!

And I liked how they gave you a choice on who you wanted to play in almost every level!

Why has SW EP 1-6 the game or at least two games spit up (LEGO don't count) never been released surly the ultimate game and that way with it not being one movie they don't have to come up with plot changing events in game to make it last longer.
