    It was fun.

Nice to see some range on Yvette Nicole.

    Such a Cold Case vibe.

Danny was on The Soup last night, yelling at Joel.

    "Squee!"

So awesome to see Abed's Batman again. Loved how he spoke to the cop at the end like they were partners. :D

As for the fate of the series, it seems pretty clear this will be the final season. Low-rated shows like Chuck may have barely gotten picked up in years past, but when a show is actually pushed off the schedule, with no confirmed return date, that's never a good sign.

    I love this from Wiki.

Premiering in the 9:30 pm ET spot on September 17, 2009, the pilot episode had a viewership of 7.680 million. In the 18–49 audience, it had a rating of 3.7. As such, it held 93% of this audience from The Office, which had been in the previous time slot.

Whitney isn't holding 93% of The Office's numbers!

Damn. I've missed the last two episodes. Been so busy lately. I guess the answer to my question above is that the hiatus will be in affect after Christmas?

If you listen to the cast, they think that Hiatus is code for Cancelled.

Yeah as I think I mentioned a few pages ago now I wouldn't be surprised if this is the last season.

Not an airing hiatus, but a production hiatus.

The worst case scenario is that the last episode has already aired.

which wikipedia says if not the truth.

They have a stock pile, but they're probably not going to make anymore.

Who says they're going on a production hiatus? Everything I've read says they're finishing the season in the very least.

On the soup the actors have repeatedly said "We'll be back in a few weeks... months, whenever, maybe."

It's a script/acting sure, but definitely borne of despondence when the interns put the script together.

There's no denying that they might be cancelled. But they'll finish filming the season, in the very least.

Hopefully. I think the hiatus news has made everyone nervous.

The Soup's advertisements have been pretty funny. I love how they keep chastising Joel McHale, blaming him personally for the hiatus. I have no doubt NBC won't be ordering any more seasons, but I do hope that the show can find another home. Even E!, despite Joel's complete and utter fear of that happening.

Didn't someone earlier in the thread state that NBC owns "Community" and that's one of the reasons why it wasn't cancelled prior to now?

I believe it's Sony that owns the show.

And Sony has a history of giving networks pretty sweet deals on shows in order to help them cross the needed threshold to get into sindication, that's what kept Brad Garrett's low-rated sitcom on the air for all of those years.

There's still two episodes that haven't aired.

    Fuck you nascar pre-empt.

One of them, was the first episode where the soinlaw meets Blossom the psychiatrist for the first time, to talk about how he thinks he's living in a sitcom because the worlds about him doesn't make any sense.

    "Sitcomitis"

Oh Mayim Biallick, how gorgeous your complete awkwardness is.

My favourite line is when we found out that the soninlaw, Doug, was an heir badboy who used to date Emma Thompson, and the two of them the socialite pages used to call "The Douger and the Cougar".
