Come captains and Klingons Please heed the call Don't stand in the transporter Don't block up the hall For he in the red shirt Will be he who has stalled There's a battle outside And it is ragin' It'll soon shake your viewports And beam out your walls For the times they are a-changin'. (with massive apologies to B'hab Dy'L'an) -------------------------------------- It's the future already, but at the beginning of the year, all we know now were things yet to come, and Starscape made that the challenge: show us change (and not the change in your pockets!). It could be change yet to be, or change that brought us here - the history and the future of now. And now it's your turn to shape the things to come, by voting ... and your vote will help determine not only who changed things for the better, but who will shape our February challenge yet to come! ======================== Klaus ------------- Morpheus 02 ------------- smalltalk66 ------------- Starscape
Wow, this is a difficult choice this month! Morpheus' girls are just too cute, and the idea of Starscape's Pakled captain is just hilarious. But in the end, I have to give it to smalltalk. The lines are just superb, and the angle looks great, and I love seeing "unseen moments" like this. Nice work all!
i really love the diversity of styles this month. i did want to point out that my older daughter Mia worked really hard to get that Vulcan salute right.
Well done, smalltalk66! Thanks to everyone to entered and voted... and also to Ptrope for, as ever, doing his sterling job of hosting the poll (love the Dylan homage!). Looking forward to seeing what smalltalk66 somes up with for the February challenge.
Thanks again, everyone! Klaus, Starscape, Morpheus--great work! I just sent an idea to Ptrope for approval--I didn't know whether I was supposed to do that or not. If you guys don't like it, I can always propose a Trek romantic theme for February... Smalltalk66
No need to get Ptrope's approval. Just go ahead and start a thread, and he will pin it to the top when he sees it.
