Yeah, also it's completely pointless to complain about it because Clarkson is very nearly always shown to be an idiot with stupid opinions.

I wish more people would realise that - but then the comedy complaints would drop off if they did.

Eh, they'll just do the same thing that they did with the Stig and replace him with a superior version. In this case, the new James May will be slower and even more boring.

Loved how Jeremy's Yorkshire accent came out after he'd been gassed.
But I think because the BMW bit was filmed on the track apart from the last few seconds, it lacked a little something.

I have to agree... it felt more like something from the third or fourth series, when they were a little less ambitious with challenges.

The snow plow film was on of the best they've done in years. It was bloody hysterical!

this show had everything in it that should have made it great, but I found it boring and I can't say why.

Well someone who went to the recording today, said that the interview between Jeremy and
    John Prescott
was a car crash.:lol:I hate that man.

Go cry me a river, I had Geoff Hoon and now I have some women off GMTV.
I wonder if Jeremy just talked about the bus lane, I want someone to nail him over pathfinder.

The scripting was really obvious. The snow-bine wasn't even plowing in most the shots.

The Prescott interview was funny. I don't really know who he is, but imo he owned Clarkson very nicely.

No, he didn't... What it was was two Yorkshire alpha males butting heads, but neither really came out on top.

Honestly, I thought they both came off as stubborn idiots.

I'm not British so I don't know his official title, but I believe he was the Transport Minister when Tony Blair was still PM. Over the years, the Top Gear trio has been mocking Lord Prescott's transport policy on the show so I thought it was rather fun for him to personally come onto the show to try and defend himself.

I think I said that. Two Yorkshire alpha males...

Though, to be fair, Jeremy has the advantage in that his idiot is essentially an onscreen character played by a bloke with the same name, whereas Prescott doesn't have that layer of protection in the first half of the segment (he seems to develop it and settle on a character from the "connect with the electorate" line onwards)
