RIP Harold. I remember he went to the same college as I did (Washington University in St. Louis). Do....Ray....EGON....
If only he could relive his career again, again and again, a la Groundhog Day. RIP and thanks for the laughter.
That's a shock. He directed and acted in some of my favorite comedies. Groundhog Day in particular is a masterpiece. Rest in peace and thanks for the films you left us with.
One of my heroes. Shame I never got to meet him. Dammit. I think this is the end of Ankroid's dream of a GB3 with a full cast reunion.
Oh no, terrible news. He was a major axis of much of the comedy I enjoyed in my youth. A comedy legend, in my book. So many laughs, so many quotable lines... Thanks Mr. Ramis.
One of those deaths where, when you hear of it you just deflate like a balloon. Obviously he had an impressive CV outside of Ghostbusters (I was only watching Groundhog Day on Saturday, fantastic film), but to those of us of that right age he's a childhood hero, and when one of those goes it always hits you hard.
My thoughts go out to his family and friends. Very, very sad news. He was Egon to me and he made some wonderful movies.
Just saw the news of Mr. Ramis' passing over at Entertainment Weekly. Very sad, indeed. R.I.P. and thanks for the laughs....
