And now BBC One's showreel [yt]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WXDq_a0l4Zc&feature=player_embedded[/yt]

A second series? Assuming this may just be the anti corruption people on a new case? I agree about the dialogues bits, and god I've neveer wanted to see a child have the shit kicked out of him as much as I wanted that kid to get what was coming to him! I thought Neil Morrissey was really good as well.
Going to borrow the BBC thread has I don't think its worth giving ITV its own thread. Here is the ITV trailer http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9djI9VpRXzo&feature=player_embedded I'm a bit odd as I'm looking forward to Downton but not because of Matthew and Mary, I'm more bothered about what's going to happen to Edith.
The Game sounds interesting. I wonder if they'll channel TTSS remake (with a hint of Ashes)? I missed C4's Byrne thriller (Secret State?) as well. Anyone recommend it?
And the latest reel for this years dramas is here, along with the latest round of commissions. Including Atlantis, the Saturday evening replacement for Merlin, apparently involving young Jason, of And the Argonauts fame.
Yeah, it is really a shame. I really liked The Hour. Between that and canceling Being Human and Merlin they've really cut down the amount of shows I look forward to on the BBC. Hopefully they'll have something decent to replace them. Atlantis sounds promising at least.
To be honest when they stated what the ratings of the Hour had been I wasn't surprised. I didn't watch it but in hindsight kinda wish I had. Atlantis, I don't know, I'm getting an Outcasts vibe from it (and I say that as someone who liked Outcasts) Still its nice to see they are commissioning new genre shows.
Not sure about an Outcasts vibe, it it was Scrimshaw Pirates then I'd probably have that vibe. It's just a shame it seems to be Dead Man's Boots on genre shows.
I'm not sure why I feel that, it doesn't make a lot of sense, it just has that big epic vibe about it.
