I picked up Driver: San Francisco for the 360 the A other day and boy, is that a fun game. A lot of racing games piss me off because you can go full throttle the entire race and somehow cars can magically pass you being left in the dust miles back. I like this game because when that happens, I shift into in oncoming car and slam head on into the opposing car. It's definitely going to be hard going back to Forza 4 after this

I've also been getting some play on my Nintendo 3DS, playing through New Super Mario Bros. in anticipation for New Super Mario Bros. 2. I've also downloaded a few games onto my Virtual Console and have been playing them:

    Super Mario Bros.
    Super Mario Land
Super Mario Land 2: Six Golden Coins
    Metroid II: Return of Samus
The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX

After finishing 'Kingdoms of Amalur', I've got a mighty strong hankering to play god with something, so I'm switching back and forth between 'Civilization V' and 'SimCity 4'.

I started playing NFS: Hot Pursuit again... the last time I played was over a year ago.

I started playing Max Payne 3 but got a little annoyed with a corridor where I keep dying over and over... so I've started a Mass Effect 1 replay (I'm ashamed to say I've never completed the first game with a female Shepard), and as of today I've started playing Spec Ops: The Line.

Just a few days ago finished TES3: Morrowind. Even though I mostly just went straight through the story with a few sidequests along the way, it took me a good few weeks of work to finish. When it comes up on the Steam sales I'm going to get the GOTY edition and recreate my XBox character with console cheats.

I've also been trying out an old gem, X-Com: UFO Defense. It's been a blast so far, there's lots of tactical depth that's been lost on modern strategy games IMO. I can only hope the new game measures up in comparison!

Been playing through Mass Effect 3 again, now that the Extended Cut has made the ending at least somewhat palatable.

I just finished Goldeneye 007: Reloaded, and started Final Fantasy XIII (yes, catching up on this one). About four hours in, and I'm enjoying it quite a bit despite the well-documented flaws in the game.

Final Fantasy XIII is (IMO) the most underrated game in the series, it has received an extremely unfair barrage of criticisms from gamers, mainly because of how it diverts from it's predecessors. If anything, FFXIII was a natural progression of the original vision of Hirobnu Sakaguchi who has strived to re-interpret the idea of fantasy as a genre with each game.

I'll go on record as saying that the story of FFXIII is among the best in the entire series and Masashi Hamauzu excelled in his role as composer, creating a soundtrack that satisfied the void left by the departure of Nobuo Uematsu and also creating an entirely new feel that showcased Hamauzu's versatility. The gameplay is different, but just because the game is linear in nature, there is no need for people to shoot it down. I initially disliked the game, until I gave it another chance earlier this year and my opinion about it has done a complete 180.

This reminds me that I still have FFXIII for the PS3 and I've yet to get around to playing it. I'll definitely need to do so soon.

Been grinding through The Secret World MMO. For the most part its a decent little horror-based time-killer, but to be honest, it reminds me why l ultimately HATE MMOs: shitty loot system, bugs and glitches everywhere, and a bunch of know-it-all assholes playing that go out of their way to make you feel inadequate just because they've gone a little further in PVP than you have.

Think i've had just about enough of feeling inferior. Might be time to go achievement whoring on my 360 again.

I am currently switching between Fallout: New Vegas and Final Fantasy IV: The Complete Collection (which is absolutely great for a remake).

I think New Vegas was possibly the best in the series, and one of the few games to have really good DLC.

Agreed, with the exception of Honest Hearts which was unoriginal, boring in many places and filled with pretty useless items like tomahawks and semi-auto guns that pale in comparison to what you have access to at Gun Runners once you've broken the casino banks.

Despite being annoyingly difficult and with a quite a bit of backtracking, I think Dead Money is one of the best RPG DLC's to have ever been released. In fact it's so good, that Bethesda could probably make a whole game based upon the area and the characters introduced in DM, if they were so inclined.

Star Trek: Birth of the Federation, but occasionally I do play a little Baldur's Gate 1. Nostalgia dies hard.
