To the bottom left, you can see part of the PC tower sitting on the floor. It's not an ideal spot, but there isn't much space in my bedroom.
Here's my home desk. It stays pretty neat, because it's mainly used as an easel -- I throw a drop cloth over the whole thing when I paint. I usually just sit in bed with my laptop.
My desk hasn't recovered from Christmas yet. All the stuff from the rest of the house that got moved to make room for decorations ends up in the spare bedroom, where my computer lives. All the books & CDs though, that's normal. I'm addicted to Goodwill and always have books and CDs to catalog and rip. You Pony People are making me want to pull out my collection of classic ponies and share them with you. I love the new show, but the classic ponies are so much nicer looking than the new ones as far as the toys are concerned.
I can always rely on him for a good "Airplane!" quote. Just don't call him Shirley. I would love to see your collection. I like the G1 ponies, myself. Not a big fan of the G3/3.5 adaptations, but that's neither here nor there. I don't know if they would like to see them posted here (we've ponified half the thread!), but in TNZ there's a Brony thread, and I know several who would love to see such a collection.
I don't use my desk, either. I have one, but it is more of a table. It collects useless things on top of it. It's in the spare bedroom, but I'm never in there. I could go weeks without venturing past that threshold. I wonder if the monitor even turns on anymore! I just move my laptop around the house, from room to room. Or use my tablet. My desktop computer (custom built) is actually my TV, and that sits on a nice entertainment center in my theater room. It's in a custom case made to look like a piece of A/V equipment. That's all connected to a projector, 124" diagonal image.
Hahahaha. Yeah. I just use a laptop for all my computer needs and I just sit on the couch, often in my bathrobe, when I do writing work. When I grade essays I just sit at the kitchen table or lean against a book on the floor. I've never really liked sitting at a desk. I like to be able to land wherever I want in the house.
