Back in 2003, I created a fan video edit that merges footage from the DS9 and TOS Tribble episodes into a full length 70 minute cut presented in widescreen format. The cut is based on the SD versions of both episodes. I recently discovered the file and decided to share online. Captain Sisko (Avery Brooks) is on a mission to prevent the assassination of captain Kirk ( William Shatner) by a deceptive time traveler with a personal grudge against Kirk. The Deep Space Nine episode "Trials and Tribble-ations" allowed Sisko and his crew to go back in time to the days of Kirk, Spock and McCoy when they had to deal with those pesky Tribbles in the classic episode "Trouble with Tribbles." This is the first time that both full episodes are seamlessly merged to tell a unique story from Sisko and Kirk's perspective.
