Damn, all this talk about The Doctor regenerating into a Rabbit has me desperately wanting to see a 6ft Talking Rabbit as The Doctor now (Or at least a Companion) .
LOL Sindatur I'm just running with the oh noes a woman theme of some of this thread. I realize PMS is not as likely an issue with timelords but it's likely an issue with misogyny. And I knew you meant no such thing.
Clearly, the greatest companion was Stormaggeddon. Only one who could properly match wits with the Doctor.
That's exactly The Rabbit that came to mind and made me really want one as The Doctor or Companion (Not the Regular Series, an Unboiund Audioplay or Webisode...) I know there's Frobisher, but, he's not that Rabbit. Though Iris Wildthyme's Companion Panda is fun
The disappointing thing about Matt Smith leaving is that we won't have another episode with the eleventh Doctor, Craig, Sophie, and Stormageddon.
That would be awesome...though I suspect maybe it'll be Strax and co instead...actually now in my head Strax is babysitting Stormaggeddon (or possibly the other way round...)
Damn this show used to be fun. They should take a chance and just do a series or two without the Doctor. Reactivate Doctor Donna and have her and some other characters bouncing around spacetime in the TARDIS trying to find Twelve, who for one reason or another vanished during regeneration. Of course they have to find him...eventually.
lol A doctorless series would be absolutely awful. Now I love Torchwood, but actual episodes with no doctor would be appalling. I don't even like the doctorless episodes which were just an episode, so fuck knows what a whole series would be like.
There's a fantastic UNIT era Book where the Brigadier compensates for no Doctor by pressganging the Master from prison and enlisting Ian Chesterton to look over his shoulder.
