He's the Brand Manager for the Series, which mostly involves being Moffat's Yes Man, denying things that later turn out to be true and generating empty hype.

I have a feeling this photo was a dig at the person who leaked the Doctor Hurt news, who goes by the name The Doctors Trainers.

    Piggy backing off that.

Why haven't we seen any alternate universe doctors?

What if there was a doctor in Pete's World who still went back to Galifrey on a regular basis etc?

Is the doctor excluded from the multi universe concept?

In the 7th Doctor Story Battlefield, the Antagonists are from an alternate dimension/universe, whatever, and they know The Doctor as Merlin, so, we have had Our Doctor (Seven) impersonating an Alternate universe Doctor, kind of

The novels say that the Dictator in Inferno was that univese's Doctor. Also, Coming of the Terraphiles says the Time Lords drafted their alternate reality selves to help out with Time War, and as a result the Doctor really is the last Time Lord in all the multiverse.

However, as far as the show goes, RTD was of the opinion that the Time Lords were unique to the "prime" universe therefore there aren't any Time Lords or a Doctor travelling in Pete's world.

This picture of the two Doctors is much better than the two pairs of feet (and what is supposedly John Hurt beyond the shoes).

I never thought I'd say that I'm nostalgic for Tennant. He looks like a big kid having the time of his life there.

It is kind of cool we now have pictures of Tennant and Smith together with Smith now in his own costume.

For those wondering what I'm trying to get at, it's the picture of Tennant and Smith together in The Writer's Tale with Smith in Tennant's costume, taken on set of The End of Time.

Oh, fuck that guy. Definitely not true then. Same guy that said Harriet Jones was in the red Dalek, Paul McGann and an elephant would turn up and all sorts of infamously wrong spoilers.

Bizarrely, people still seem to believe him each time.

Oh good grief. How is he still around on GB or, at least, anywhere semi-reputable? *tosses THAT rumor into the garbage can*

If the photo were a shot at The Doctor's Trainers, though, that would suggest that he hit a nerve in the production staff by revealing that. Again, assuming that the photo was a message to/shot across the bow at TDT, then Ed Russell committed a cardinal PR error. You either get in front of a story or you ignore it. The one thing you never, ever do is acknowledge it.

I seriously doubt they were a shot at The Doctors Trainers. A man that understands the storytelling formula in Doctor Who even less than he understands the useage of apostrophes.

Seriously, the guy's every post is an assault on the eyes.

They would sack a stunt-double for posting a picture that reveals precisely nothing? Seriously? That's pretty lame. I'm sure the small print of the confidentiality agreement lets them, but that's messed up.

She might have gotten a verbal warning but there's no confirmation she was fired.

They'll probably just put all their pictures in the "cosmic portraits" in the title sequence.
