I was in Chicago a couple of years ago but I didn't explore the city itself enough. Must remedy that the next time I go. Once they get the renovations done at Wrigley, I'll be back!
^ I actually kind of like O'Hare. Whenever I have a layover there, I make it a point to travel back and forth within that underground tunnel with the cool neon sculpture thingy.
I remember at some point I was at an airport in the north mid of the US and I had to go from one terminal to another and there was those moving sidewalks where everyone just stands there with their luggage and it creeps along and I was like NO WAY am I gonna do that I will just walk. 5 miles later.. and you couldn't even get on the sidewalks once you started walking because there were barriers along them.
Haha yeah teacake, sometimes they can be really long! I always get on them and walk. I'm still walking, just getting there faster. And thanks guys! I fell in love with the city several years ago and I'm so glad to be back. Here's another pic I took (already posted on FB) from the Sears Tower. It was my first time up there and I enjoyed it quite a bit. I took the photo in the direction of where I live, though there's no way you could see it from here. No.
Come visit meeeeeeee. Also these are just pics of downtown. There are so many cool neighborhoods past the tall buildings!
I don't like ketchup on my hot dogs, either. For me it's chunky chili, onions and mustard. Maybe a drop of something hot or spicy. But ketchup? Save it for the burgers and fries.
But it's a Chicago thing not to put it on hot dogs isn't it? I was trying to be with it so Kestra takes me on a tour. And yeah, I haven't had any in the house for years.
I've never had Chicago hot dogs, just Chicago-style pizza. But if they don't include any ketchup whatsoever then I like the things already.
I mean, it's a city. And I recall it being very clean. It is in Wisconsin, though, so that's kind of annoying. I haven't actually been in a real city in probably 3 years.
Chicago-style hotdogs are made of Vienna Beef, and putting ketchup on them is basically the highest form of blasphemy. I really miss Chicago-style food. I need me some deep dish pizza.
