Depressing answer is: no, not really. Spend a couple months grinding away, drop millions of credits and other resources, and then not really much there. really just doing it for the skills/powers, IMO. I unlocked both on my primary a while ago, and other than getting the Adapted MACO set and some different costume tweaks, not really much there to buy. Haven't even played him in a while, as he's maxed out with nothing to do, and no incentive to do anything...

Well you do get a decent amount of dilithium from the Romulan rep and you can unlock the Reman race for the upcoming Romulan faction no matter which faction a character that completes it is in.

Not from the rep store, but advanced fleet weapons do give a noticeable boost to starship damage.

Last time I checked there were no advanced Transphasic torpedos and it will take good ones to seperate me from the Breen Rapid Fire torps. ;)

Might (might) be running around in STO late tonight (after midnight EST) if I don't grind on my Guild Wars I account. Really I shouldn't, I'm behind on some stuff I should get done this weekened, but at the same time I need to decompress a little for the next couple of days.

    Romulan Hyper Plasma Torpedos.

I'm Seriously thinking about maxing out the Romulan rep on my soon to be Romulan alt just to get all the good toys.

Why can't the feds and Klinks get faction specific goodies like that.

Also it took them long enough, but Cryptic seems to have finally figured out what you need to do to get money out of your player base with a minimum of fuss

I run the transphasics because they still pass as photons with their orange glowing color and thus are acceptable as Federation weaponry for me.
I max my toon within a themed frame, but the theme takes precedence.

Quantums might be interesting, they produce higher damage on blank hull, not sure if they compete against shielded targets, though.

I would enjoy classic reds with some interesting perks.

But in this game it's all about making your toon as unfaction like as possible. :(

Humm... Yeah... I have no desire to play as a nosferatu bat with reflective purple pajamas that was never mentioned in Trek before and was a one note wonder in a single movie. ;):ouch:

I know I know, a bit harsh and I don't begrudge anyone who will want to... but not for me.

Give me a sneaky, xenophobic, treacherous Romulan. The guys who gave Kirk a run for him money now and again and made the crew of the Enterprise D shutter by telling them, "We are back!" :luvlove:

Its a C-Store bundle for completionists who buy everything anyway.
They just sell it for real cash in advance.
You can buy everything in there individually after the expansion is released.
    Except the titles.

Its basically all the stuff you can buy in the Z-store after the faction goes live, their just giving you the ability to get it all now at once at about $56 cheaper then buying it all piecemeal in the Z-store. Plus you get some titles added in.

For completionists indeed, no way I'm OCD enough to fall for this one! I maybe want one or two of those ships. Can we say overkill?

F2P games almost always offer a top tier elite pack as an option. I don't see what the problem is. They have a 20 buck pack and will almost certainly sell the parts piecemeal in the future.

I think it's fair to say a the Zen Store in general is a bit overkill. :P

Only thing I've bought out of it was an Exeter Class and a couple of character slots. Both times I've waited for sales before doing it. No way I'm dropping that kind of change of the legacy pack.

I prefere to think the "Classic Junkyard Approach". If it works better than what was there before, I mount it up. I got her on the the tail of the Odyessy release event and I rarely use any of the other ships my inventory (aside from part storage)
