It's happening twice this year. A "Special Edition" this weekend, then the main one in October like usual.

I think they're supposed to be announcing them soon. A big announcement was slated for today, but haven't looked at the site yet.

So it's going to be pre-52 characters meeting the 52 versions of themselves? Interesting.

I know it'll never happen but I would be quite happy if we just went back to the original continuity. The one that I grew up with. 1986 to 2011, baby.

No. That was just Rich's own speculation I think. Even he doesn't really know what exactly these are going to be.

    ^ Yes!

Whatever these things are...they're only supposed to be one shots related while DC completes their move to Burbank. I seriously doubt it has anything to do with the "end of" of the New 52. That'd be much too hopeful.

Brief revisiting of old continuity to fill a gap isn't unprecedented-- in 2011, DC covered the gap between the "old 52" series winding down and the New 52 starting with fifteen DC Retroactive one-shots, set in the continuity of the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s. They were fun.

Yep. She'll be working with Mike Marts again on the X-titles I presume. The move continues to effect both companies.

I remember not liking those retroactive books from a few years ago.

It's less editorial's fault and more the management not knowing what they want. There is a recent interview by Devin Grayson, the former writer of Nightwing who had Dick raped which sheds some light on DC's problems.

Thanks, I googled it, and it's pretty horrifying.

    Here's the link: http://thebatmanuniverse.net/comic/comic-news/tbu-exclusive-3/

It really doesn't sound like a fun place to work at as a writer.
