I started yesterday a poll,, what you think is overall better design NCC-1701 VS REFIT.
Now that gave my idea starting another poll same question what do you think is the better design GALAXY CLASS vs SOVEREIGN CLASS.
I will then later start another poll for ,,the winners,, from these 2 polls.

e-e is much easier on the eyes for me

the -d would have been better if they'd gone with Probert's earliest drawing, the one that looked more like the -c. As is, the -d is just another reason to not rewatch TNG eps.

Although the galaxy has some particular angles that makes it look not so great, I like the overall design philsophy and style of the galaxy more than the sovereign.

Tough one here, because both ships represent well two different eras in Starfleet philosophy, IMO--one before Wolf 359 and one afterward...

I'd have to go with the Galaxy-class, but only by a slim margin.

Sovereign was an attempt to invoke the lines of the Constitution.

The Galazy has always been hideous, with its stumpy little nacelles and oblong head. It looks like a midget.

When i first saw the new ENterprise on an advance copy of the TNG bible, i thought it just looked like a melted version of the Enterprise i knew! :wtf:

Looking at it now...it's not that bad, but still looks a little clunky...i forget, but someone on the Trek Art Forum had some really creative designs for a future Enterprise. THAT would be an interesting innovation.

In the meantime, I vote for E.

The Galaxy is very grand looking, but the Sovereign is just too cool.

I almost voted for the Galaxy class, because TNG being my introduction to Star Trek, seeing it gives me a warm, comfortable feeling. I favour the Sovereign design though.

There is nothing astheticlly pleasing about the Galaxy. I have a model of it and it has no good angles on it. I have no idea why the saucer is so big comparted to the rest of the ship and why it is wider then longer.

The Sovereign is a much nicer design. The Galaxy always looked top heavy to me and I hated that she had only one forward torpedo launcher.

Sovereign class. The saucer on the D is too big for the rest of the ship. It looks like it's going to fall over.

    ^Yep, the saucer looks terrible.

I don't really like the Sov, but I always hated the old Gal.

The Sovereign is palatable from more angles than the Galaxy.

However, when the Galaxy is looking her best, the Sovereign aint got nothing on her.
