Did you read the comics, buy the toys, or watch the series?

    I do remember the toys.

I don't remember there ever being a "Shogun Warriors" TV series, I know that most of the toys were based on various distinct Anime series from Japan.

I used to watch the various movies on cable tv. My brothers had a lot of the toys and models. It was my intention to get either the large Raiden or Gaiking, but ended up getting the Godzilla instead. I found the comics unremarkable.

I wouldn't mind seeing some of those movies again.

They are old, like the dawn of time old. Before Ramirez had that Samurai sword(before Samurai existed), he had a set of Shogun Warriors.

The comic was fun and the toys are awesome. I'm in the process of rebuilding my collection. They make great minis for wargaming.

I only had one comic but I like it quite a bit and used to re-read it all the time as a kid. I had a diecast guy who could fire missiles from shoulder pods which would fold down so they would shoot straight when "flying" and it had treads on its legs which could fold down as well which in retrospect seems rather awkward and useless. Maybe he'd get tired of walking from time to time?

I could never afford the big ones, I was always jealous of my cousin's Mazinga which could shoot three missiles from its fist and it had a shitload of spare missiles that clipped to its legs and shoulders (I think) that was really cool when you were a kid. Though to make up for it a little bit I had the Battlestar Galactica toys with the deadly missile launchers that could fire across an entire room.

I had all the large ones, plus Godzilla. They doubled as Sentinels to attack my Mego Super-Heroes. Good times.

I had Raydeen. I never did know his name, but I do recall what he looked like. I really liked the launching fist thing.
