I think I could live without the extending prongs if the size was at least more accurate to the prop. If it's oversized like the plastic toy, then no thanks.

But yeah, it would DEFINITELY be cool to have a sonic screwdriver with some actual weight to it.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't the second McCoy figure (come with TARDIS) supposed to have a secondary "serious/no hat" head? I got mine yesterday, and it's gurning as much as the first season McCoy figure. What a disappointment...

SUCK! Oh well. It's a nice TARDIS, anyway... :techman:

I could have sworn they were making an alternate "serious" McCoy....

I do hope we get a "serious" head for McCoy.

I also hope I get my Seventh Doctor/Tardis eventually.

The allocations were apparently so severe that retailers only got a mere fraction of what they'd ordered. While my Unearthly Child First Doctor and Fourth/Tardis are on their way, there weren't enough Seventh Doctor/Tardis sets to go around. :(

Cool. Nice to see a final look for McGann though. Not the best likeness in the series of figures such as the likes of Tom Baker or the Smith figures, bu cool none the less.

Nice to see a normal non gurning face for McCoy though.

slightly off topic, but I was watching "Waters of Mars" the other day, and was reminded of all the people (on another forum) who said that Gadget would sell alot of toys, but I dont recall seeing those toys.

It aired too late for Christmas, and in the run up to the 11th Doctor after the regeneration, saw very little 10th Doctor stuff come out, before the 10th Doctor was wiped from the shelves, just before the 11th Doctor made his TV apperance.

what happened to the Gadget toys, people were predicting.

Heh. The new Daleks look even worse as toys than they do as Daleks.

And I received my UC First Doctor and Fourth Doctor/Tardis on Wednesday. I was a bit miffed at first when NA was shafted, only received about 1/5 of what was expected and I didn't get the Seventh Doctor/Tardis but... I like the shade of blue of the Fourth Doctor's Tardis much better and, since the Seventh Doctor doesn't come with a swappable head with a neutral expression, I no longer care.

I like that the Amy figure doesn't have any unsightly joints at her knees and elbows -- certainly would have messed up the flow of those lovely legs. :D Already have her pre-ordered along with the Ironside Dalek.

@ Worf... The pics shown are almost always of the prototype sculpts. They don't have the joints. The figures do.

@ Starkers... You and pretty much every other figure collecting fan I know. I'll be very surprised if they don't outsell the new Crayola Daleks.

Well, the Rose figure has bare arms and no joints, so I'm hoping the same will hold true for Amy's legs.

On another figure front, has anyone heard what this year's SDCC exclusive(s) will be, if any? It would be cool if this is where the 8th Doctor materializes...

Pre-ordered my Ironside Dalek, looks so cool. I dont really care for the newer ones to be honest.

Not too sure on the Amy figure, but ill pass judgement until i see it on a shelf somewhere.

On a side note, got Elevens Sonic the other day for £9.99 at a toy shop . duno why theyve shalshed the price already, its only been a couple of months, probably had loads to shift.

They certainly will, of all the other forums i lurk on and every geek mate of mine, they hate the new Daleks. Let alone spending nearly £10-12 on one or a set.

That'd be cool and at the same time, wrong.

Besides, i was about 9 or 10 when that show aired, so shes probably blossomed since then, maybe an update is required to the prototype.
